Gloria Howard, along with sons, Spike and Scott, opened the original Dos Hombres April 1, 1977 at 2516 Broadway in Grand Junction, Colorado. Today, we continue the quality and tradition by preparing our food fresh daily, using the finest and freshest ingredients available.
Dos Hombres has been a family favorite for the last 40 years when I was a little kid and it was located in the Clifton City Market business plaza! I love the green chili on my burritos. I also really like the Navajo Taco! Don't forget to try the Fried Ice cream or some sopapillas because they are both fantastic! Great service and great atmosphere! I love this place!
I am a long time visitor! Used to come see my Grandma in the 90s. This was the one place she wanted to go. It was smaller by City Market. It has moved to a larger building across the street. We stopped by going through town going home. So GOOD! Everybody took care of us, and the food was FANTASTIC! Thank you!
I wish I could give more stars. This is some of the best Mexican food I have tried in a restaurant. The smoked chicken enchiladas and the black beans were great. The rice is well seasoned. My husband had the chicken fried steak with green chili. The queso is really good. I was so glad when the second basket of chips came out warm. Delicious
